Revisions
Digi Edge Tech is committed to customer satisfaction. You are entitled to two (2) rounds of revisions:
Initial design and layout review with the opportunity to request changes.
Final content and layout review prior to publication.
Images
Unless noted otherwise, image assets must be provided by you, the client. Digi Edge Tech can acquire stock images on your behalf at a cost of $10–$60 per image. Photo sourcing, cropping, and editing services are available at $75/hour. Photography services for your products or business location are available for an additional fee.
Clients are responsible for ensuring all provided images are properly licensed. Digi Edge Tech is not liable for copyright issues related to client-supplied materials.
Content
Clients are expected to provide website content unless otherwise specified. Digi Edge Tech offers professional copywriting services starting at ₦15000 or $10 per 1000-words.
Installation
Installation of your WordPress site on your hosting server is included. WordPress performs best on Apache/Linux hosting. Microsoft or alternative hosting environments may incur additional charges. IT consulting is an addition cost. We can also provide a backup of your previous site upon request.
Access And Hosting
You must provide necessary credentials for your current WordPress installation, cPanel, and FTP to enable Digi Edge Tech to install your website. Digi Edge Tech offers competitive hosting services if you do not already have hosting in place.
Search Engine Optimization
Basic SEO features are included, such as a sitemap and Google Webmaster Tools integration. Comprehensive SEO strategy and keyword optimization are available at an additional cost.
Ongoing Support
Unless your quotation includes ongoing maintenance, this service is not part of your package. WordPress and its plugins need consistent updates and backups for security and functionality. Support and maintenance packages are available for a monthly fee.
Training
Training is not included unless specifically mentioned. Digi Edge Tech offers:
One-on-one WordPress training sessions. Free client access to video tutorials via our website
Meetings And Consultations
Standard communications via phone or email are included. In-person meetings, conference calls, or consultations outside the scope of the quoted project are additional cost.
ECommerce Websites
ECommerce websites include:
- Setup of Shop, Cart, and Checkout
- Basic PayPal integration
- Flat Rate shipping setup
- Product uploads (client-supplied)
- Additional services like zone-based shipping, credit card processing integration, product photography, and copywriting are not included unless otherwise stated.
- Client must provide a formatted product spreadsheet with images for product import.
Liability & Warranties
Liability
All designs are subject to client approval before launch. Final approval is your responsibility. We recommend legal review before publication. Digi Edge Tech’s liability is limited to the total value of the design contract.
Warranties
Digi Edge Tech guarantees your website will function properly on the most current versions of Internet Explorer, Safari, Firefox, and Chrome at the time of launch. Compatibility with outdated or future versions of browsers or mobile devices is not guaranteed. Should a plugin become incompatible with future WordPress updates, your options are:
- Replace with a compatible plugin
- Remove the plugin
- Hire a developer to custom-build the required functionality
Payments
Payment terms are specified in your quotation. Full admin access will be granted after final payment is received.
Accreditation & Promotion
Digi Edge Tech may display screenshots of your website in promotional materials and design portfolios unless otherwise specified by you in writing.
Intellectual Property
All deliverables provided and accepted by you become your property upon full payment.
Cancellation
If you choose to cancel the project before completion, Digi Edge Tech will bill for all work completed up to that point, including consultation and third-party costs.
Relationship Of The Parties
Independent Contractor
Digi Edge Tech operates as an independent contractor. Nothing in this agreement creates a joint venture, partnership, or employee relationship. Work is not deemed “work for hire” under copyright law unless explicitly stated. Rights granted to the client are contractual and defined herein.
Design Agents
Digi Edge Tech may engage third-party contractors (“Design Agents”) to assist in project delivery. Digi Edge Tech remains responsible for their compliance.
No Exclusivity
This agreement is non-exclusive. Both parties are free to engage in similar relationships or projects with other clients or providers.
Website Development Terms And Conditions (Hourly)
General
Website development projects are inherently iterative and complex. Whether Digi Edge Tech is developing new functionality or troubleshooting an existing installation, these tasks often involve unpredictable challenges. While we make every effort to complete work within the estimated hours, all development projects are billed hourly at the rate specified in your quotation.
Billing And Estimates
Digi Edge Tech will provide an estimate of hours required based on the initial project scope. This estimate is not a guarantee of the total time or final cost. If the project reaches the estimated budget, we will pause work and contact you for further instructions—either to cease work or to approve additional hours. We provide detailed billing summaries outlining the time spent and progress made. Our goal is to maintain transparency throughout the development process, keeping you informed of time usage and deliverables.
Image
Unless otherwise specified in your quotation, all images used on your website must be supplied by you, the client. Digi Edge Tech can assist in sourcing high-quality stock images upon request. Stock photo pricing typically ranges from $10 to $60 per image, depending on the source.
If you require assistance with selecting, cropping, or editing images to ensure they are web-ready, these services are available at a rate of ₦5,000 / $5 per hour. Additionally, Digi Edge Tech can coordinate professional photography services to capture images of your products, location, or team for an added fee.
By providing images, you confirm that you hold the appropriate licenses and legal rights to use those images on your website. Digi Edge Tech assumes no liability for copyright infringements related to client-supplied images or content.
Content
Unless otherwise specified in your quotation, all website content must be provided by you, the client. Digi Edge Tech offers professional copywriting services if you require assistance creating engaging and effective content. Our copywriting services start at ₦25000 / $25 per web page (approximately 500words). Contact us for more information or to request a quote tailored to your project needs.
Logo
Unless otherwise specified in your quotation, you, the client, are responsible for providing a high-quality digital logo file suitable for use on your website.
Access And Hosting
You are responsible for providing Digi Edge Tech with all necessary credentials, including access to your existing WordPress installation (if applicable), your web host’s cPanel, and FTP details, to allow for the installation and setup of your website. If you do not already have web hosting in place, Digi Edge Tech offers competitive hosting packages at an additional cost.
Search Engine Optimization
Digi Edge Tech ensures that your website is built to be search engine-friendly by including a sitemap and integrating it with Google Webmaster Tools. However, unless otherwise specified in your quotation, comprehensive SEO services such as keyword analysis and optimization will incur an additional fee.
Ongoing Support
Unless ongoing maintenance is specified in your quotation, it is not included in the project. Regular updates to WordPress and its plugins are essential for maintaining security and functionality. A weekly website backup is also recommended. Digi Edge Tech offers ongoing support for a low monthly fee—please inquire for more details. If additional support is needed, you can purchase a support plan or contract Digi Edge Tech at an hourly rate.
Training
WordPress training is not included unless explicitly specified in your quotation. Digi Edge Tech offers one-on-one WordPress training at ₦10,000 / $15 per hour or can provide half-day ($180) or full-day ($350) remote 1-1 training sessions. Additionally, Digi Edge Tech provides free access to training videos via our website.
Meetings and Consultations
Communication during the design and development process via email and phone to review content and provide approvals is included. However, if Digi Edge Tech is required to attend meetings, conference calls, or web meetings for consultations, strategy reviews, presentations, or to develop new content outside of your quoted project, this will be charged at ₦15,000 / $20
Liability & Warranties
Liability
All designs are subject to your approval before launch. Final approval is your responsibility. Digi Edge Tech recommends a legal review before publication. Digi Edge Tech assumes no liability for any content approved by you for publication on the internet. In any event, liability will be limited to the total value of your design contract.
Warranties
Original Work Done by Digi Edge Tech
Digi Edge Tech warrants that your website design and functionality will work properly on the current desktop versions of Internet Explorer, Safari, Firefox, and Google Chrome at the time of publication. Compatibility with older or future browser versions or mobile browsers is not guaranteed. While Digi Edge Tech strives to ensure your site is responsive and compatible with various devices, we cannot guarantee identical display across all platforms. Specific issues can be addressed for an additional fee.
Digi Edge Tech recommends keeping WordPress and its plugins up to date for security. However, we cannot guarantee that plugins or custom coding will work with future WordPress updates. Should compatibility issues arise, you can:
- Choose another compatible plugin
- Remove the functionality
- Hire a developer to custom build the required functionality
Due to WordPress’s dynamic nature, which depends on factors like client-supplied content, hosting providers, browser updates, and security patches, any fixes or development required will be billed at hour rate unless covered by a support plan.
Development Work to Fix Existing Installations
Digi Edge Tech does not warrant work on existing installations for specific functionality or suitability. We will attempt to fix issues within the provided budget, but any additional work needed to meet your satisfaction will be billed hourly see plan.
Payments
Payment terms are outlined in your quotation. Full administrative access will be granted after the final payment is received.
Accreditation & Promotion
Digi Edge Tech may use screenshots of your website for promotional materials and design portfolios unless you request otherwise in writing.
Intellectual Property
Upon full payment of the final invoice, Digi Edge Tech grants you the right to the deliverables provided and accepted as part of this agreement.
Cancellation
If you choose to cancel the contract before completion, you will be billed for work completed up to that point, including consultations, meetings, and any out-of-pocket expenses (including third-party labor, stock photos, and other costs). These will be billed hourly.
